Minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, this new, pet friendly cabin is the perfect family vacation getaway! It provides exceptional amenities, three large bedrooms, comfortable furniture, great outdoor space with three porch/patio levels, fenced yard, two separate living areas, pool table, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor fireplace to take in everything the mountains has to offer. Private and cozy!
Blue Ridge, GA has been a tourist destination since its founding in 1886. The first railway came to Blue Ridge at this time and provided an easy path from Atlanta. Overnight Blue Ridge became a boomtown. People flocked to this region to enjoy the fresh mountain air and cool climate. The same wonderful experiences are true today!
Since its humble beginnings, a variety of new adventures are offered now including trails, waterfalls, Lake Blue Ridge, horseback riding, tubing, white water rafting, breweries, wineries, restaurants, shopping and a plethora of other attractions.
The mountains are our retreat! Take a Paws got its name because it perfectly describes this property. A place to relax and unwind and your fur babies home away from home! Entering the cabin, you will notice the cathedral ceilings, open space, and the feeling of home!
The furniture provides that farmhouse cabin feel with comfort in mind. The home is tastefully decorated with numerous references to our furry family members and includes a fully equipped kitchen to discuss the day's adventures while preparing dinner.
The home has three levels with bedrooms on each. Two separate living areas (main floor and basement) provide entertainment for everyone. The downstairs has a pool table, 55" HD TV, bar area and comfortable seating to enjoy the game or movie. The main floor includes the dining area, family room, 55" HD TV, half bath/laundry room and kitchen.
Sleeping arrangements include:
Top level has a master suite, king bed and private porch. The main level has a master suite and king bed and lower level is a queen bed with bathroom directly across the hall. Additional sleeping options are available with a twin trundle bed in the lower level game room area for a maximum 8 guest stay.
The fenced backyard, with over 2,000 square feet of area, has plenty of room for your pet and children to play. You can take a short stroll to the creek at the bottom of the property. Relax in the glider swing on the bottom level and enjoy what nature has to offer. A 5 person hot tub is also available for your enjoyment and has a privacy wall.
The property has parking on two levels. Two parking spaces are available at the top of the driveway and two parking spaces in front of the cabin. The top parking spaces are a very short walk down the driveway. Four wheel or AWD is not necessary to access the property. The roads leading to the cabin are newly paved offering very smooth access.
This home is pet friendly, as the owners believe the entire family should be able to be together. Dog bowls, treats, a cozy bed and nature call bags are also provided for your stay! Please contact us for approval for any dogs over 50lbs. Normal limit is two but we do make exceptions. This is a very dog friendly property!
After the day's activities, the kids can enjoy a game of pool, play cards, build a puzzle or cozy up on the couch to watch a movie in front of the fireplace.
The adults can relax by the upstairs fireplace, reading, watching the big game or binge watching their favorite show on Netflix.
The home is equipped with a gas grill, outdoor dining table, multiple porch furniture and wood burning fireplace. Firewood is provided for the fireplace and fire pit areas.

Cancellation Policy:
● To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking and it must be at least 14 days prior to arrival. The refund will be for all nights minus any service processing fees.
● If guests cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll receive a 50% refund for all nights minus any service processing fees.
● If guests cancel after that, you’ll not receive any refund
Guest Access:
Access is via keyless entry. A check-in code will be provided 1 day prior to arrival. Checkout code will be provided the day before with instructions.
The entire cabin is available to the guest with the exception of the owners closet
Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with paved newly paved access to the cabin. The driveway access is gravel. 4 wheel drive is not necessary to access the property.

Privacy:
Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owner's privacy and comply with private property signs.
Pets:
Dogs only - All dogs must be kept on a leash when outside. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members. The number of dogs is limited to two and each must be under 50 lbs. The owners respectfully request you crate your dog while away.
Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on Tuesday and Friday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen neighbors.
